MMM Cosmetics is a local Kenyan brand founded by Keli Mbesa, Peace Mbugua, and  Grace Mairori. We met when we were very young and have been best of friends ever since. As we have grown up, we have done everything together; academics, sports, music, and so on. From a tender age, we have always been business-minded. At the age of 7 and 8, we formed a group we called DBG where we would bake cakes, cupcakes, and cookies and sell them at school events. While we were still very young, these experiences taught us valuable lessons on what we can do when we come together and work hard at a shared goal. The brand MMM Cosmetics began during the coronavirus pandemic as we decided to do something innovative with ourselves during a difficult period. The desire to challenge ourselves with something new, something different, and something useful propelled us to start MMM Cosmetics. Over the years, as young girls, self-care has become more important to us. A great lip-gloss is essential, however, we could never find a product that catered to our needs. They were all either too expensive or lacked the quality we desired. At MMM Cosmetics we strive to provide solutions for these issues for our customers. Our goal is to provide access to quality, affordable, and organic cosmetic products that not only look good, but feel great, and are good for the self-care of each of our customers.
